Welcome to Pocket PC Planet!

Pocket PCs were PDAs (personal digital assistants) that ran Microsoft's Windows CE operating system. They were first introduced in the year 2000, designed to compete with Palm's PDAs. For the first few years of the 2000s, Pocket PCs were very popular. Later on, Windows Mobile would come to smartphones and would continue to be popular until the beginning of the 2010s.

Pocket PC Planet is a site dedicated to preserving the history of Pocket PCs, archiving their software, and connecting Pocket PC enthusiasts all around the world!

Meet PPC Planet Portal, a search engine that makes it easy to find Pocket PC software, manuals, and more! It is fully integrated with the PPC Planet Public Archive, and it also makes it easy to search other sources for what you're looking for. As of July 2021, it is now out of its beta phase!

- The PPC Planet App Catalog has replaced the old Pocket PC Planet App Manager project completely as of today. We're going to work on adding some of the App Manager's best features to the App Catalog in the future.
